Privacy policy

Updated October 10, 2026

This page explains what SideHitLabs collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to hello@sidehitlabs.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the sign-up form: your email address, and if you choose to fill them in, your first name, home mountain, how you ride, your level, how many days you ride a season, and whether you teach or coach snowboarding.

This site doesn't use its own cookies, analytics or ad trackers. The one exception is the embedded TikTok and Instagram videos described below.

Why

• To email you build updates, test-rider calls and Kickstarter news.
• To understand who's on the list (which mountains, what kind of riders, how many instructors), so we can pick test riders and build the right product.

Who handles it

• Kit (kit.com), our email service, stores the list and sends our emails.
• TikTok and Instagram provide the video players in the "Follow the journey" section. They load when you scroll to that section, and those services may set cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies.
• Our web host serves these pages. Fonts load from Google Fonts and icons from jsDelivr; like any website, those services see your IP address when your browser requests them.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your choices

• Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Email hello@sidehitlabs.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13. If you're under 13, please don't sign up.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
